Our Programs & Initiatives

Six core programs, each designed to create lasting change at the grassroots level.

Shiksha Jyoti Program

Education is the single most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Yet in Gujarat's rural belt, 1 in 4 children drops out before completing Class 8 โ€” most of them girls. Shiksha Jyoti (Light of Learning) exists to reverse that.

Key Activities

  • โœ“Scholarship support for 400+ meritorious and needy students annually
  • โœ“Community libraries with 3,000+ books in Gujarati, Hindi and English
  • โœ“Saturday tuition centres staffed by volunteer teachers
  • โœ“Digital literacy classes using donated tablets and offline content
  • โœ“Parent engagement workshops on the value of girls' education
  • โœ“Career counselling for Class 10 and 12 students

  • โœ“Maternal and child health checkups with referral to city hospitals
